Scripture verses that identify the a/c

Jesus said, "I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive." (John 5:43)

Jesus was giving us a BIG clue to the identity of the antichrist. When the fullness of time came, when the antichrist was alive on planet Earth and starting to fulfill the Scriptures written about him, then this verse of Scripture would be an important clue in discerning just who the antichrist is.

We know that it is normal, for as long as records have been kept, that when a boy is born, he takes his Father's name and he keeps it forever, handing it down to his son, who does the same. If his father is a Smith then he is a Smith and his Son is a Smith and his Grandson is a Smith and on and on.

If a boy or man changes his name from his father's name to another name, then he comes in his own name. It is rare that this is done and a BIG clue in identifying the antichrist.
